Our Story
In the heart of Vidarbha, where droughts and debt have long tested the spirit of farmers, one man chose to fight back - with purpose.
Mr. Ajinkya Abhay Kherde, once settled in a secure corporate job, walked away from comfort to return to his roots in Warud, Amravati - the “California of Vidarbha.” He saw his people’s pain: farmers struggling under the weight of high pesticide use, falling orange yields, and unpredictable climate.
But instead of giving up, Ajinkya turned challenge into opportunity. With advanced training from DRY BOX Pune and CFTRI Mysuru, he founded Arjuna Agro - a venture built not just for profit, but for prosperity with purpose.
He began by rethinking the land itself. Intercropping moringa with orange trees, he introduced a natural, low-cost, pesticide-free system that gives farmers steady income within months. The moringa leaves - once waste - are now processed into high-quality powder, generating livelihoods for local women and stability for small growers.
Today, Arjuna Agro stands as a symbol of resilience - of how one farmer’s vision can turn adversity into abundance.
It’s not just about agriculture.
It’s about restoring dignity, rebuilding communities, and reviving
the pride of rural India.
